What to Say to a Girl in a Text Message
76Knowing what to say to a girl in a text message can be complicated and confusing to most people. I am going to share with you a few great principles that will allow you to know what to say to a girl in a text message.
These are great points to keep in mind when you want to convey value and on a deep level really show this girl that you are the kind of person she is looking for.

Social proof:
- When appropriate mention friends or people you are with
- display to her that you are social and socially accepted
- “My friends are here! Talk to you later!”
- “I’ve got a few mins before my friends come over, just wanted to say it’s too bad you are gona be missing out :P”
- If other people like you, talk to you, and spend time with you then you must have good qualities
Scarcity:
- Girl's don't want to date someone with no life
- If you aren’t actually busy its ok you don’t have to be; just create the illusion of scarcity
- Both of you will be busy from time to time and it will have negative effects if you are too available
- If she asks you to do something on a Tuesday tell her you already have plans with friends that day and are only free on Thursday this week for example
- If the cat wants the string even a little it will chase like crazy when you take it away
- Caution: if you make yourself busy and she doesn't chase like crazy this is not definite evidence that she does not like you at all. She could be busy and just thinking of you or w/e. Learn to judge the situation.
Urgency:
- Offer something that she wants or is interested in but not necessarily 100% devoted to doing
- Then introduce a time limitation
- This is a very popular sales technique. "Limited time only!" (ever notice how there are always sales on everywhere?! pay attention next time your near stores)
- Urgency works by increasing desire temporarily to a high enough level to get a yes, a commitment, a sale when otherwise the current level of desire just didn't cut it
- An example could be going to see a movie with friends and she doesn’t feel like going out but would like to see the movie, so you introduce a limited time offer such as, this is the last day the movie is showing or saying that she only has a few minutes to decide before someone else takes the last available spot in the car you are taking. Get it before it’s gone!
- Opportunities that are appealing and fleeting become temporarily boosted to be more important than with no limited time offer.
Reciprocation:
- No matter how small, by giving others will naturally feel as though they should give to you in return.
- If she tells you she is feeling down today or something like that and you make her laugh you will have given her a benefit and she will now be much more likely to offer some kind of benefit to you, like doing the same if you are in the same situation later
- Caution: do not create expectations like, if i love her she will love me in return!
- Caution: there is no obligation to reciprocate however it does increase the likelihood of her giving to you if you give something first
- Note: reciprocation can be complicated to understand and use effectively but is very powerful when used correctly
Mystery:
Draw her in! How do you do this? Wouldn’t you like to know :P.
- People get bored of the predictable, don't always give everything away. Leave a little to wonder about.
